John is the founding partner and Principal Counsel at Ebokpo, Adedayo & Co. In this capacity, he provides strategic legal counsel to high-profile organisations in Nigeria and Europe, and currently brings his expertise to the table as a Director in Mipple Technologies Limited, a tech solution company in Nigeria.

Sought after internationally for his comprehensive grasp and understanding of International Legislation, John chairs the Legal Affairs unit of Snow-Valley Europe as an external Director. He is also a Director in Snow Valley Palm Beach Limited, John is reputed for providing innovative advice and proffering practical solutions to complex legal issues as a Director in Stewart International Marketing Company based in Scotland. John is also a co-founder of Mipple Technologies Limited and Food Hive by Canaan Limited.

Called to the Nigerian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2011, John is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants; a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Auctioneers, Nigeria; a Member of The Certified Institute of Auctioneers, Nigeria and a Member of the Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators, Nigeria, a Member of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Member of the Nigeria Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Secretary of the Abuja Potato Processors and Marketers Allied Product Association.

Nicknamed the Heart of Gold by his closest associates, John is a dogged philanthropist whose unyielding desire to improve the lives of Nigerians living below the poverty line, led to the establishment of the John & Rebecca Ebokpo Foundation (JARE Foundation). The Foundation, though locally focused, is globally-minded and is positioned to partner with international philanthropic organisations in the fight against world hunger.

His commitment to the fight against human right abuses and the protection of the girl-child from physical and sexual exploitations has seen him undertaking hundreds of pro bono legal cases all over Nigeria and proffering advice on policy matters relating to child rights protection.

An astute professional with a reputation for delivering and demanding excellence, John’s devotion to impeccable performance is matched by his thirst for knowledge. He is an alumnus of the University of Calabar, HarvardX, the Universite Catholique de Louvian, Georgetown University, Berklee College of Music, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Hong Kong and Nasarawa State University.

John Ebokpo is a regular speaker at various conferences, seminars and workshops organised both in the legal profession and in other sectors. He is married with children and resides in Abuja.
